The 4th SIDA (the 4th edition of Sponsorship for International Design Awards)
Supported by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) as the lead sponsor, the 4th edition of Sponsorship for International Design Awards (4th SIDA) is a local sponsorship program that supports and empowers Hong Kong designers, young and emerging talents on their journey to international recognition.
The 4th SIDA offers substantial financial aid based on a curated list of 46 specified international and 6 local design competitions and awards endorsed by 20 local professional design associations, institutions and industry leaders, covering 7 design categories (Multi, Graphics, Spatial, Product, Fashion, Digital Media and Design Education).
From 12 March 2025 to 11 March 2026, designers can participate in two schemes:
Scheme A for Winners of Specified International Competitions/Awards: Financial support is provided for winners of endorsed international competitions and awards, enabling them to further develop their careers and gain global recognition.
Scheme B for Winners of Specified Local Competition/Award to Enter International Competition/Award: Winners of local design competitions receive financial assistance to compete in endorsed international competitions and awards, taking their first steps towards international acclaim.
To celebrate the accomplishments of participating designers, their design journey from entry to success will be captured in printed leaflets & distributed to public at the exhibition and two sharing seminars, allowing the community to witness the transformative power of design.
The 4th HKDA is a catalyst for change, empowering Hong Kong designers and talents to reach new heights of creativity and recognition. It nurtures their growth and promotes their work on both local and international stages.
